Bat-Manga!

Bat-Manga! was presented in 2008⁽¹⁾ by Chip Kidd and Saul Ferris, that translated in english this japanese version of Batman!
Following Pablo Casado, the manga is realized by Jiro Kuwata.
In the book, edited by Chip Kidd (see the preview) we can see a mix between the tipical atmospheres of Batman's stories with the dynamic japanese signs.
An example of dark atmospheres is the followin page in the beginning of a story published in the volume:

There are also some images about the fight against Clayface⁽³⁾:

The last page seems inspired by an episode of Tarzan's comics, but I don't remember the issue...
Following Warren Peace, I see the great influence of Osamu Tezuka on Kuwata, but it is natural: Tezuka is the most influenced mangaka in Japan's comics history!
